As we usually do, we’ll like to inform you of the latest features in the latest version of Pilot Poster. And in version 5.0 Beta, the following are the features introduced;

1. Auto Like: The auto-like feature, just like the auto comment, lets you LIKE all of the posts in a schedule with all of the Facebook accounts you have on file.

2. Image Upload re-enabled: We have been able to restore the image and video upload directly from Pilot Poster in version 5.0 Beta. Although our URL is still being flagged from uploading content to Facebook and an appeal process is still ongoing. We have been able to provide a workaround to this, to ease the process of uploading your media content.

3. Pilot Poster Premium Launched: Prior now, we have been letting you know of our intention of introducing Pilot Poster Premium. And in PP 5.0 Beta, this has been introduced to enable us to provide you better services and support.

Subscribing to Premium is completely optional and was introduced to satisfy those users asking for more resources and ability to add more Facebook accounts. This will also enhance the development and support rendered.

Free account holders can still add up to 5 Facebook accounts and utilise all features except Video Uploads.

Goto your Account insights to view what you can achieve as a free user.

In our next update, ads will only be shown to free users and premium users will be ads free

4. Intelligent Posting Schedule: In version 4.5, we have experimented our intelligent scheduling with some accounts and the result was amazing!

Our scheduling system now integrates random timing interval to your schedules based on your account posting status. This reduces your chances of getting thrown into FB jail.

When a schedule is running and the system thinks you’re about triggering the Facebook jail police, it adds random time interval between 1-10 minutes to keep your account safe before running the next post.

Note: This does not mean you won’t be thrown in FB jail at some point. Follow our safety pre-cautions highlighted in this article to avoid/reduce the chances of being flagged.

5. Bug Fixes: Minor bugs were fixed from the previous version.

1. Number of Members in a Group

One of the most requested features (after the last update) on Pilot Poster is the ability to see the number members in a particular group.

This will enable users to narrow down what group to post and filter out groups with a little number of members. This we have solved in version 4.5 as you can now see the number of members in each group.

2. Facebook Group Auto Joiner

Another major introduction in 4.5 is Facebook Group Auto Joiner, this will let you join groups on autopilot directly from Pilot Poster.

You can join same groups for multiple Facebook accounts. Also, you can now export all groups from one account and import to join from another account.

3. Auto Repeat For Comment Bumping

Version 4.5 comes with an improved Auto comment features with the ability to repeat and pause comments.

Version 4 is an upgrade to version 3.5 (Released a week ago), and below are some of the features in version 4.0;

1. Auto Comment/Comment Bump: To reduce the rate at which you post to groups which will automatically reduce Facebook Flag rate, we have introduced the auto comment feature.How does this work? When you have a campaign you want to run on Facebook, before now, once you post, the post moves down the group as time goes and you have to re-post every time to take your post to the top of the group, and this could lead to Facebook flagging your account when you post too fast.

   With Pilot Poster’s Auto comment, you do not need to re-post same campaign every-time, all you need to do is to schedule comment on the posts you already published, and every time you post a comment, your post is taken to the top of the group.

2. New & Improved UI: Pilot Poster version 4 comes with a new design. An improved UI that is mobile friendly than the previous versions with some improvements.
3. Post Products to Sales Groups (Improved): You can now post your products to Facebook Sales groups with Product Name column and Price fields are now available in Pilot Poster.
4. In-App FAQ: We have integrated FAQ in within the app interface so it’ll be easier for users to get answers faster to the common questions asked by fellow Pilot Poster users.
5. Improved Remote support: Our remote support function is now at its full released stage. You should expect an improved support from Team Pilot Poster.
6. Bug fixes: Version 4 resolves bugs discovered in version 3.5. The most common among these are Link Preview not displaying for Scheduled Posts. And Link Image not displaying in groups.

2. Post Products to Sales Group (Beta): For the Facebook product sellers, Pilot Poster 3.5 is for you. Though we are still improving this function as it currently supports English speakers only for now. Nevertheless, we are very sure it is a tool many having waiting for. No doubt it ranks second in our feature requests.
3. Remote Support (Beta): We are constantly working to improve our level of support. Though the team is small, we hope to grow bigger so we can render better support to all users. This is why we have introduced remote support function so the team can assist users who find it difficult in setting up their accounts and in troubleshooting errors when needed.
4. More Facebook Apps: We have included more Facebook applications. This will increase your options of app to use when posting. One of this is Facebook for Android App.
5. Improved UI: There is a slight improvement on the user interface of 3.5. We hope to improve this even better in 4.0.
6. Removed LINK Customizer Fields: There was an API upgrade in 3.5 meaning our work around Facebook disabling customizing of links no longer works. However, you can check how to customize your Link Fields in this article.

Above are the major noticeable changes. There are also several bug fixes.

4.0 Coming Soon!

One of our primary aims is to include Auto Comment (Post Bump) function into 3.5. We could not achieve this because there is an urgent need to release 3.5 due to some bugs detected in 3.0 lately.

However, this function will be released in Pilot Poster 4.0, and it is coming soon!

The long awaited Pilot Poster v3 is finally here! Aside from fixing minor and major bugs like Double or Tripple Posting, it also comes with amazing features…. Check them out below:

1. Post Multiple Images

Posting up to 6 Images in a single post is now possible with Pilot Poster. This is one of the major features of Pilot Poster 3 as we received hundreds of mails requesting for this feature. This is good news for those who want to showcase their products to thousands of Facebook group members.

2. Post Videos Directly to Facebook

Pilot Poster 3 supports the posting of videos directly to Facebook. You can either upload video directly to your Pilot Poster account or via a hosted video link.

3. Post Insights (Beta)

This is another major feature that makes Version 3 so unique. You can now see the total reactions on a scheduled post. You can track the total number of clicks, likes and reactions of a post across multiple groups.

4. Account Stats

Want to know how many of your posts were successful and how many actually failed in the last 24 hours, Week or Month? Then the Account insights got you covered. It is now easy to track your post success to help you plan a better posting campaign.

5. Hide Unwanted Groups

You can now hide groups that you do not want to post. Firstly, the popular default app HTC Sense had to be dropped because Facebook flagged it, and we had to quickly resolve to iPhoto as Pilot Poster’s new default app.

That wasn’t all! Pilot Poster’s servers were blacklisted by Facebook for reasons known to them. After contacting Facebook, we could see that there was no solution coming soon, so we had to move servers.

The process of moving wasn’t that easy due to the large userbase of Pilot Poster, and unfortunately, many accounts were lost along the way.

What happened to back up???

Of course, we had a backup in place and we tried restoring the lost data, and that did more harm than good as we later discovered that the restore came with a lot of complications, it took days to figure out what actually went wrong and to try fixing this, we had to disable Creating of New Accounts, Saving Posts and some other features.

Resetting of Accounts

After days of trying to fix this problem, we regret to announce that thousands of accounts had to be reset, meaning their scheduled posts, saved posts, Facebook accounts, Authenticated apps had to be cleared… and all affected accounts will have to start all over.

A better Pilot Poster

All of our dear users should know that we are working to make Pilotposter better and very soon, version 3.0 will be launched with whole lots of amazing features.

This was a real pain in the neck for Team PP as we have to activate every new member’s account who uses Yahoo Mail and the other affected email services.

This has also led to hundreds of accounts being inactive as many of the members did not have the chance to read our knowledgebase article concerning this issue because we discovered only after several days from the day of occurrence.

Also, many others could not go through the stress of sending us an email requesting for an account activation.

The good news at the end is that this issue has being fixed after we contacted the Yahoo Mail Team through our server engineers.

We must give kudos to the Team Pilot Poster server guys and the Yahoo Mail Team.

However we have decided to make this a lot easier in the upcoming version because you will now be able to select groups and add them to a category all at once.

This feature also enable you to remove multiple Facebook groups from a category at once rather than doing it manually one after the other.

4. New and improved Emojis

We have added new Facebook emojis and also improved on the current emojis. So you will have more emojis to select from!

5. Flexible Timing added to posting schedule

We have added more option to scheduled posting. Among these options is flexible timing, that will enable you automatically pause a post at a certain hour of the day and continue after that period automatically.

This will enable your facebook campaign to meet your audience at a planned time which increases engagement and conversion.

6. Improved methods to reduce Facebook jail

The current facebook jail rate on Pilot Poster is around 1%, a statistics that no other Facebook group auto poster can boast. We are working round the clock to ensure that we completely erase the possibility of Facebook jail on Pilot Poster (Except those who abuse the system).

In Pilot Poster 2.0, we have added more measures to ensure that we go below the 1% level of users being thrown into Facebook jail.
